Our little friend Johnny, is now 8. Almost every time we go to Bahoruco Johnny comes running up with the biggest hugs and the best smile, although his smile has been changing as he is losing teeth! Sometimes Johnny is in the capital city, Santo Domingo, with his grandmother because his mother is not able to afford to take care of him in Bahoruco. When in Bahoruco Johnny floats around the community and eats at the feeding program. He is a sweet boy, but starving for attention and affection. Thankfully, he has the school, church and feeding program of Bahoruco wrapped around him to teach him how to be a healthy young man.
